I have several loads worked up of 7828 with the 100 TTSX 3.17 OAL, any where from 68 - 72 grains, Barnes list 69 grains as the max, Hodgdon shows a max of 73 with a 100 grain bullet and most loads i have found on reloading sites show around 73 grains as there loads for the 100 grain TSX and other 100 grain bullets. Why is there such a variation in everyone's data? I have slowly worked up to 72 grains and it is shooting the best it ever has at around 3560 average, does anyone think this is over pressure? Bolt opens fine, no markings on the case. Appreciate your input.

My main loads were 70 (or more) grains of H1000 with a 110 Accubond and 115 Berger in my .257 Wby before, and that's slower burning than 7828...
My Berger manual says 64.6 max for 115 with 7828 SSC.
Nosler says 73.5 max for 85gr bullets and 71.0 max for 110 grain...But doesn't list 7828 for 100gr bullets. So, I guess you could read between the lines to get a max.

I think I am close at 72 grains but also dont want to have extreme chamber pressures, velocities seem to be on par with everything I have seen including factory ammo with the tsx. My 110 accubonds are shooting 3429 with 70 grains and are my go to load. Just trying something different.
