Question for the group, what velocities and loads have people been getting with the 25 SST? We've been playing with one, 26 inch 1:7 Brux barrel and capping at 3030 fps before pressure with H1000 and CCI Br2z I know there's a thread here that I've been following but would like to hear your opinions here.
Thanks

Thought I included it 🙄, 134 ELDM
I know people say that twist doesn't effect pressure but I have a 257 bee with a 1-7 twist. It acts pretty funny, seems to get max speed and pressure 4-5 grains under Berger data. I shot the eldm and both the 130 class bergers. Don't know if it's a twist thing or not

i've been "lucky" enough to have 2 tight barrels in the last 5 years.
They both shoot well but pressure up at least 100fps earlier than any others in those calibers. and they are 26"!
It can happen..
They are from 2 of the top tier manufacturers.
SS not wrapped

Mine is a 24" 7.25" twist broke in. Im now running 133 bergers at 3120fps with 59.6 grains of h-1000 and comfortable pressures in all temps. I used to run 131 blackjacks at 3230 with n-565. Little over 60 grains if I remember right but it was a pretty warm load. Brass is on its 4th firing and going strong aside from a couple I pushed too far in development and the pockets are loosening some. I would think with a 26" barrel you should be able to get considerably better than 3k with h-1000.

Thanks, I agree, barrel is not broken in yet so we will see. I'm gonna try Bergers 134 LRHT and se how they fly. I'd be happy with 3100s and brass that last x a bit.
