243 ai

Anyone have any pet loads with 243 AI with 115 berger VLD's. Thinking of trying rl 22, retumbo,h4831 and magpro. Thanks in advance as I know I will get some good loads. I have many other powders so let me know what you like.

Never had a 6mm that "truley" liked the 115's. Switched everything to the 105's and never looked back. If you shoot the 105's, I'll be happy to share load data with you.

well I have a bunch of 105's also so that would be great. I am sure a deer will not know the difference.

I shoot 51 to 53grs of Retumbo with a 105 Amax. I have a couple 243AI's and they all like that range.

47-48 gr of H 4350 with the 105 in the AI is one of my pet loads.

I have shot antelope with the 105 A-Max in a 9 twist a beyond 400 and from the damage would not hesitate a whole lot further too. I use N-165

I have buddy that is killing Ghogs at over 900 with a stock 243 factory shooting 105 at 3000fps w H4831
