Joe Walls, of Walls Rifles, contacted us earlier this spring. He was seeking a suitable bullet for an upcoming Alaskan Moose hunt, where he planned to use a 21" 300 WSM. We recommended the 181 Shock Hammer.
He took a 240 yard quartering shot. Upon recovery he found the shank of the bullet on the opposite side, just below the hide.
He said, "The Shock Hammer consistently shot Sub 1/2 MOA at 500 yards in my rifle and the performance of the bullet was amazing on such a large animal."
