22 in 300 prc?

I took the first 30 shots out of my 22" proof barreled 300prc yesterday. Here's what I worked up to. Surprisingly, I didn't see many pressure signs. I tested Berger 215s, ELDX 200s, and TTSX 180s with a mix of Retumbo, H1000, and Staball HD. I had some odd shots where decent bumps in powder caused the velocity to go down. I'm attributing that to high ES numbers and/or issues with my scale. I'm also using BR2s instead of magnum primers but I've heard of a lot of people doing that. I'm going to weigh everything on a beam next time. These were all shot suppressed if it matters. Here's my findings:

215 Bergers
H1000 - 80.6gr - 2805fps
Retumbo - 80.3 - 2808fps
Staball HD - 82.6 - 2794.7

200gr ELDX
Staball HD - 83.5gr - 2917.9fps

180 TTSX
Staball HD - 84.5gr - 2992fps but 84gr showed 3016fps
H1000 - 84gr - 3102fps

I'd love to know what others are doing to get 2850 out of the 215s with H1000. I felt my 82.6gr was on the spicy end of the load. This was also my first time using my garmin chrono. It only missed one shot because it prompted to update and I didn't see it in time. Not sure on the accuracy but it never hesitated recording the shots. Like I said, maybe my barrel is just slow? Hopefully it will speed up here in the next 70 shots or so.

I have a suppressed 26" 300PRC running 215s. I have a few other "elk rifles", this is one of my bombers I built for canyon shooting.

H1000 @ 3021fps
N570 @ 3053fps

Take 100-150fps off for a 22", and that should be around 2870-2900. PLENTY for elk.

Man for some reason I keep going back and forth between a 24 300 wm since I've got a ton of 300 wm and a 24 in 300 prc. Only plan to shoot factory loads which scares me since there is only a few. The slight extra recoil from a prc shouldn't be much more than the 300 wm right?

Then i would utilize someone like unknownmunitions.com for ammo. They can send you test packs to see what shoots. Either 300 will be awesome.
That's really cool that there's companies that do load development for you. Since I never got into reloading early it's pretty hard right now to find what you want

I'm shooting 80 Grains of H-1000 with 215's in my PRC with a 24" Barrel not suppressed and am right at 3000 FPS, shooting bug holes. With this set-up I am still at 2090 FPS at 800 yards and 2087 Foot Lbs. Drop it about 100FPS for the two inches of barrel loss and it still puts it at 2007 FPS and 1922 Foot lbs of energy you should still be golden with that on elk.

Following this. About to get moving towards 300 PRC shooting around 3000fps right out the tube, a lifetime of playing with every other .30 cal round under the sun has me itching
