I was able to connect on opening morning in Idaho. 515 yard shot, Tikka T3 7mm Rem Mag, 168gr Berger VLD. Took 2 shots. The first went through his left side. The bull spun in place and the second shot dropped him immediately. It was hotter than hell this year. 4 of us got the bull out in 1 pull. 8.1 miles and 2400 ft elevation change. I did not get many photos, little 5x5 rag horn. Most people we spoke to said it was a slow year in our unit.
