2013 antelope hunt

]went on our first trip out west to Wyoming this October for antelope and had a great time. just wanted to thank everyone on here who helped us out with some great info, we saw a ton of antelope and we both shot our first buck. we should have waited a little longer as we saw much bigger bucks after we shot ours but we did not care we will be back for them. also had a deer tag just in case we saw one to shoot, but did not really see many deer which was expected for that area, possibly planning something for this year for a different area more for deer that can be drawn easy and still build points up.

We drove from maryland and camped out on the national grasslands, shot mine at 300yrds and my brother in law shot at 175 which was very close considering we had plenty bust us from 5-600yrdd

Looks like a great trip! Where in Maryland are you from?

I moved to the Eastern shore from Idaho quite a few years ago (stupid, I know).
I road trip west to hunt most years and try to slide through Wyoming to get a couple goats on my way to whatever elk/mulie tag I have in my pocket.

I shoot at Bridgeville (Delaware) Rifle and Pistol Club when I'm not traveling for work.

Dang, that's a heck of a drive. Congrats on your first bucks, no matter how long you wait for the "big one", he always shows up 10mins after you bag yours .

From harford county, drive is not as bad as it sounds lots of good scenery once past ohio and you can see a good ways. Probly going to be heading back this year maybe try a 2nd choice mule deer tag like reg y so can build a few points still
