SOLD/EXPIRED 2002 Sendero Ad 308

Nope, its not a sendero, Sendero's are long action, If thats the original stock on the rifle in the pic it is a REmington 700 VS, but the stock could have been swapped out on it. Hope this helps.

I ate several helpings of crow when I opened my mouth and insisted that Senderos were only long actions. I was provedn to me they released several versions in short actions.... Trust me on this... I was wrong and now have a strong aversion to crow.... ;)

Mis-information, I just bought a new Sendero that isn't marked Sendero anywhere, the label on the box says "Sendero SFII" the serial number matches the gun.

Not true...I have 3 Sendero SF's...2 of them are not marked, the other one is. My 7mmSTW Sendero SF is not marked, and neither is my .300 Wby Mag Sendero SF barrel. However, my .25-06 Sendero SF was marked "SENDERO" after the caliber.

Here's a good rule of thumb... "All long action Senderos are Senderos, but not all Senderos are long actions." :D

Remington did offer Sendero SF rifles in several of the SAUM calibers on short action platforms. However, any other short action rifle that looks like a Sendero is not. It is a VS SF, VS SFII, Varmint SF, or one of those model guns.

they and the 5-r are "basically " the same rifle . remingoton 700 action, Hand S stock. i had a 300 saum. i have a 22-250 vssf2 and a few senderos . they all shoot prettyu good.

WERE NOT TALKING ABOUT SF11 SENDERO'S THIS IS A BLUED GUN IS IT NOT THE BLUED GUNS SAY SENDERO IF IT DON'T IT'S VS MODEL ONLY THE BLUED ONES!gun)
