Is anyone running this bullet/powder combo. I have some coming in tomorrow and would like to work up a few loads to test this weekend. Thanks

nope, but I'll be tossing some hybrid 180 match over h50bmg, rl50, rl33, rl26, and possibly retumbo in the next few days in my new stick. I'll likely try a couple of powders at a time until I find what I want and settle there.

I've burned a bunch of v540 and v550 but I haven't felt the need to use v570 yet. Let me know what you find when you do your run up.

I do. It's awesome.....when you can get N570.

Usually when I work up loads I start out by loading 3 rounds @ .5 gr increments (may not be the best way but that's how I do it. I'm open to suggestions on better ways to develop loads). So here is what I have so far.

All loads using VV N570, Fed 215 primers and Nosler brass.
Custom 7mm STW: Defiance Deviant, 26" 1:8 twist MTU Benchmark bbl, Jewell trigger.

78.5 gr 79 gr 79.5 gr 80 gr 80.5gr
1. 2975 1. 3013 1. 3060 1. 3084 1. 3082
2. 3022 2. 3011 2. 3026 2. 3110 2. 3104
3. 3015 3. 3028 3. 3025 3. 3068 3. 3084

Of all of the above groups the 80.5 shot the best but it wasn't great. Where should I go from here. Even at 80.5 there was only a very faint extractor mark.
