Shooting a 7mm WSM Hornady has suspended making the 162 gr A-Max with a BC of .625 . They continue making the 162 SST with a BC of .550..... Is the balance of .75 of any significance ? Shooting out to 600 yds ?

Personally I'd look at the berger 168 classic hunters (bc .604) before sst's. They have a real similar poi as the amax at most ranges.
Are they less seating depth sensitive than the VLDs like the Hybrids ? How about the 180 gr SMK ?
Put a post up on several different site asking to purchase 162 Amax's and I bet you find some or get pointed toward some place that has them. I bought some 140 Amax's from Butch's reloading recently and they had 162's then.

The classic hunters are a hybrid ogive & in the 2 guns (7x57 imp & 7zig) that I've seen testing on they seem to be fexible as far as seating depth goes.
