Anyone using Peterson brass in 6.5 prc
Loading 156gr bergers in a LA Mag using a oal gauge I'm at 3.040" with 156 bergers.
Retumbo
H1000
H4831SC
Really leaning on Retumbo for a little more speed as I have a 26" barrel.

See similar threads below.

I don't have any experience with Peterson 6.5PRC brass but ADG, Fed 210, and VV N565 seems to produce a very good load for several folks. N565 isn't terrible to find right now either.

Thanks guys but I don't have any vihtavuori and don't plan on buying any.

I use H1000 and focus on accuracy more so than speed.

Using ADG brass and 56.3gr of H1000, I am getting 3005 fps out of my PRC with a 27" barrel.

May have a issue here.
Using Peterson brass 50gr of h1000 got me 2890 fps with hard bolt lift. 156gr Bergers

Running 20 thou jump

Remage barrel set using go gauge and no go gauge. Not my first remage barrel setup.

What measurements can I do to see where my problem is. When chambering a new round it's smooth as butter.
Brass or chamber issue?

Using the hornady comparator tool. Headspace grows .004-.005 on this piece of brass vs new brass.

Definitely sounds like something is off. Hornady app says 50 gr with a 153gr bullet should get around 2700 fps with a 24" barrel. The app's got a max load for that weight bullet and H1000 as 57.4 gr with 3000 fps.

I've had some weird pressure issues with Peterson brass the last time or two that Ive used it. I didn't investigate too much, just switched to ADG

I have some nosler I will try, after some factory ammo.

It's thick, in my experience. Slightly less capacity usually.
But it is tough and it is consistent for Me.
