145 grain 6.5mm Barnes match burner

I am working with them right now. first attempt could be better but still early. they are long and might have feeding issues depending on the amount of jump needed and your mag box lenght

147 =1.441
145 =1.460
BTO with Hornady comparator
147 =.792
145 =.747
hope this helps

Yes sir!
thank ya!
I seen a thread on the hide saying they jumped them at mag length up to .040" and getting them to shoot. My problem is I'm already stuffing h4831 in a creed case with a 147.

I am in the initial workup in a necked down 6.8 western and touching and out to .040 off could be better will try out to .080 and see.

This is good info fellas! Thanks
I don't have to mag feed either, but it's nice being able to. I have a long throat criterion, I'm hoping these shoot as good as the 147s. I have several powders to choose from, but I bought this h4831 for 147s and I'd like to use it up, I'm hoping these work!

Wonder what they'd act like on deer? Shot alot of game with match bullets but never a Barnes match bullet. Any experience using these 145s on deer ?

I read two accounts of good on deer. But unconfirmed reviews from I forget where.

I got these shooting half to 3/4 moa at 500y in my 6.5x284 @ 2980 but they don't shoot as small as the 156 berger at 2950. So I don't have any data on this bullet form 2021 season.

I got them to 2725 FPS with 45 grains of h4831 in 6.5 creed. 45 grains is all I can fit in the starline case. They hold the half minute pretty easy like the 147s do. I got a SD of 4 out of five shots, not really enough to judge it, but it was a very good sign. I haven't made it back out to try a longer string.

Off the top of my head I think someone on SH said their adjusted G7 was .310.
