For this project I am working on a 300 win mag desiring to shoot in the 500 to 600 yard range. I plan to put a 4.5x14x40 Leupold VXiii with B&C using a Picatinny Rail Mount (maybe EGW).

Should I go with 0 MOA or 25 MOA rail? I think the 0 will work fine but would I be better off with the 25 in case I start pushing the range out later?

Thanks I sure enjoy reading you guys thoughts.

Rick

If you go with the 0 moa rail you will have an adjustment range of 35 moa up since the scope has 70 moa adjustment available. If you use the 25 moa sloped rail you will get a total adjustment range of 60 moa up. With the B&C reticle you can already go to 600y with no adjustments. All depends on how far you want to adjust for...
