Pressure comes from the seal between barrel and bullet creating the resistance. This is a function of the dimensions of the bullet and the dimensions of bore and obturation. I don’t see how less aggressive lands or throat would affect this negatively, but we'll see.

If the barrel life improvent and accuracy of PXT proves to be what they claim, I see a bunch of re-barrels in my future. Especially my 22-250, 6.5-300, and probably all of my Ar-15's.
