What is the best tasting whiskey that you bring to hunting camp?

By accident,(we were running out of everything), we discovered that Fireball added to English Breakfast tea is a great warm drink sitting around a campfire at night.
 
If you're ever in Virginia, try the Lost Whiskey Club bourbon. I get some each time I'm there. Have never seen it in other than the slender pint bottles.

I have had sleep issues for many years. I was never a heavy drinker, usually a glass or two of red wine with dinner. Then I read an article that explained that alcohol is a sleep disruptor, and it prompted me to stop. I have no moral objections to drinking, just trying to do everything I can to sleep better. Early morning sun, plenty of exercise, eating at consistent times, going to bed and getting up at consistent times, etc.

If it was my deer camp, he would never be invited again. In my camp, it's all friends and we share and share alike. Bring a bottle, or two. It goes onto the booze table for all to partake. There is generally no cheap booze, with maybe the exception of Old Smugglers Scotch, which many of us happen to like the flavor of. While there is no accounting for anyone's taste, I prefer it to Johnny Walker, either red or black, and I'm not alone.

The same is true with bourbon. Price is not always indicative of what was put into the bottle. Today people are often hoodwinked by price and advertisement than actual experience with their taste buds. None other than Jimmy Russell will support this as fact.
