I think everyone has gotten sick on that at least once . Myself included .Southern-Comfort original, I picked up the taste when I was in the US Army in Ft. Polk, Louisiana, in 1970 still my go-to certified bust head.Cheers.

Basil Hayden, Elijah Craig and Woodfords are at the top of my list for deer camp whiskey.
However, my personal favorite sipping whiskey is Evan Williams 1783 Single Malt Small Batch. Easily the cheapest of those in this post but it is good stuff.

I had a friend that wouldn't leave camp until it was dry. You had to hide it out. Otherwise it would be gone.
I remember him one time finally coming from the lower camp to the upper camp site. Said he would share with me, and them we could work on mine. I tiold him it was in the pickup and several miles away. He was mad and said I couldn't have any of his.

The best I can find without having to order it. Blanton's, Weller, Michter's, Knob Creek, Elijah Craig, or a find single malt Scotch. This is my special time and you only get so many days of hunting that should be honored with something good.
