Your favorite whitetail bullets, per cartridge that you own?Favorite?

Walkers or beagles perhaps?
Dogs are a no no during deer season, I had a dumb *** walk his two big dogs right through my still hunt early one morning. I let that one go but when I saw he a few mornings later I stood up and said he was molesting my hunting. After going back and forth a few times he vacated the area.
When I spook them it's on me for loosing the wind direction or moving when I should be stilling.
Other wise I can be right on them without being detected. For the most part anyway..

Gotcha, didn't know what the deer rules may be in Michigan, where Rabid Fish was talking about.

**** son, thats some fine shooting....you could clean up at an F Class match with those numbers!
Yes sir' 1000 at yard Benchrest we only see a half dozen ( record targets ) at 1/4 min per season, F Class, that would likely be a world record string, so for a hunting caliber it's actually remarkable.

I have killed WT with such a huge range of bullets. 55 gr FMJs in 223 to 270 gr TSX out of a 375 H&H.

WT aren't tough animals. Any decent bullet, in the right spot will kill them.

That said, any "hunting bullet" that shoots accurately out of just about any center-Fire gun is fine with me. I don't get picky with whitetail like I do with bigger and tougher game.

From Elk to Elephants is where I get picky with my bullets. A mediocre bullet can mean the difference between success and failure. As they get bigger, my pickiness goes up.

The hunting terrain and generally the circumstances are considerably different in Montana vs Michigan…..and Whitetails react completely different than Muleys to most any stimulus! memtb
