I have successfully done that with a muley, but never on a whitey; they run bat out of hell without slowing down or looking back.Next time I'm going to yell STOP !
Walkers or beagles perhaps?Maybe figure out what's spooking them.
Dogs are a no no during deer season, I had a dumb *** walk his two big dogs right through my still hunt early one morning. I let that one go but when I saw he a few mornings later I stood up and said he was molesting my hunting. After going back and forth a few times he vacated the area.Walkers or beagles perhaps?
Gotcha, didn't know what the deer rules may be in Michigan, where Rabid Fish was talking about.Dogs are a no no during deer season, I had a dumb *** walk his two big dogs right through my still hunt early one morning. When I spook them it's on me for loosing the wind direction or moving when I should be stilling.
Other wise I can be right on them without being detected. For the most part anyway..
No dogs allowed. Farmer's dog will try to follow me or come for a visit and share a gut pile.Gotcha, didn't know what the deer rules may be in Michigan, where Rabid Fish was talking about.
**** son, thats some fine shooting....you could clean up at an F Class match with those numbers!6.5-300 153 gr Atip 3400 FPS .35MOA at 1000 yards
7RUM 175 ELDx 3475 .25 MOA1000 yards
28 Nosler 180 Hybrid 3395
30-378 200.2x 3450
Yes sir' 1000 at yard Benchrest we only see a half dozen ( record targets ) at 1/4 min per season, F Class, that would likely be a world record string, so for a hunting caliber it's actually remarkable.**** son, thats some fine shooting....you could clean up at an F Class match with those numbers!
