Todd, I should add that all of the Hornady Interlocks and Game Kings were complete pass through shots. I don't do shoulder shots since I hunt open country. I could usually watch deer or antelope run for hundreds of yards after hit if necessary. In my son's compact Ruger Hawkeye, th 87 VLD is very effective on whitetail. Berger helped me with that choice given the reduced velocity with the 16.5" barrel, and they were spot on.
That 168 TTSX is a beast.
