Your favorite whitetail bullets, per cartridge that you own?Favorite?

6 CM/100 SGK
6.5-284/130 AccuBond
270/124 Hammer Hunter
7 SS/160 AB
308/168 A-Max (truck gun so it may be put into service at anytime for any target)

Not really whitetail rifles but…:
28 Nosler/169 Hammer Hunter
300 PRC/180 AB
300 PRC/214 Hammer Hunter
The 124 HH - Good in the lungs? Been wanting to try some in our 270 wsm's

Used the 168 A-max in my son's 308's until we switched to 130 TTSX. It is a versatile bullet.

I like them for all shots. They are good to expand at all ranges inside of 500 depending on your velocity.

My 270 shoots them at 3344, so speed is no issue if you hit a shoulder, penetrates and expands and retains weight for pass through.

They perform more like a bonded/AccuBond. They will/do shed petals but not like a ELD-X or other "X" type bullet.

My Ruger American compact 308 loves the 168 A-Max. First two are always touching and third is 1/4 to 1/2" away at 100 yds.

Ok, pick a few that standout a bit!

Just to give you some idea of the various brands, styles and numbers, here is a short "not-all inclusive" photo of just the 22 cals I have used for deer in various cartridges and ranges hunted through the decades.

The remainder of bullets in other cartridges/calibers would be in the scores if not well over a hundred.

Too long to list individually, but I have a good mix of bullets, but >90% of bullets I use are Berger bullets (or similar design), regardless of caliber/cartridge, game, or distance.

I really like the EH's from Berger, shoot lights out in my rifles, and almost every animal I have shot with them is DRT. 195's in the 28 Nosler, 175's in the 7 PRC, and 140's in the 6.5 PRC. I've hunted with everything from 243 to 300 WM, but the first three mentioned are what I shoot today. I had a 7x57 Mauser that has taken a truck load of deer, but I gave it to my youngest son when he graduated college. He still likes my 7 PRC because it's bang flop. He shot two does and a coyote in one morning last year, and he really enjoyed himself lol.
