Glock 10mm issue

I recently put a new Alpha Wolf barrel and 19# spring on my Glock SF20. I reloaded the 180gr XTP,s with 12gr accurate #9, Sig Brass, CCI magnum pistol primers, and seated them to the factory 1.260 OAL. The velocity is 1205-1219fps. The gun is feed jamming about every other shot. Any ideas on where to start to stop the jamming or why it would be jamming?

Yea I just looked at the velocities on the load data, and it was estimating the velocity around 1050FPS at that charge. I am still 2 grains under max charge, I may just reduce the charge and see how it acts. Maybe get the velocity around 1100FPS or so. I am green to reloading pistols.

Check the oal
 
Put the factory barrel and spring back in it, it will run like a top. Lot's of people think glocks are like legos and like to modify them. When I was shooting a lot of pistol competition they were the least reliable guns I saw. Budget 1911's ran better.

If you don't want to put the factory parts back you'll need to provide detailed information of how it is jamming, without that there is no way to help you at all other than guess. Pictures help a lot, especially if there is more than one type of malfunction you are having.

I modified it because I would eventually like to shoot 220gr bullets. The heavier spring definitely makes it more pleasant to shoot with the 180's thus far. I will get pictures if I can't get it sorted out. It's ejecting the fired case and than the next round is essentially jamming at an upward angle and not chambering straight. Does the 1200FPS plus throw a flag it may be to hot of a load?

Magazine adjustment? Metal mag lips get pinched a few thousands tighter.

Or try different magazines. Number each mag.

You are going to have to experiment a bit with the overall length to get it running reliably. Seat a little farther out (longer OAL) on 10 rounds and then seat a little deeper on 10 rounds (shorter OAL) and see which direction is improving things.

Had same issue with reloads in a Glock 21 (.45ACP); once I got the OAL correct for my load, all was right w/the world.

Im a couple grains higher with my 5.5" fully supported barrel ( not a glock, not same brass as you) and am getting right around 1400fps from those bullets--- you said you changed barrels, different barrel =different feed ramp =different feed angle , could also be speed of slide ( because of different recoil spring)--- could even be a slight "short cycle" of slide or maybe magazine feed angle or weak spring . Im loading to same oal as you, the xtp bullets have a pretty forgiving profile and usually feed very well-- wfn profile bullets usually take some length tweaking to get to feed right
If the feed ramp isn't polished you could try that and see if it helps
If you load just 2 or 3 rounds in the mag does ot still jamb?

Brass is going about 20-25ft is would say.
