Probably not, but I like my odds better with 15+1 rounds than with 6 rounds with my.44 Mag, esp. if I have to do warning shots.
I have done rapid fires on pie plate at 15Y or so, and I think I should be fine. And besides, it came with it, so no additional cost/purchase.
I had a G40 for a while but I grew to not like the longer barrel. I sold the gun but I still have a holster for the G40.

My GS has the same set-up as in the first video and shoots them at 50 yards or so.

If it looks like a G20 and feels like a G20... It's close enough, really, I can't tell much difference between the two G20SF and G20. I only carry mine as a walk-in-the-woods gun. The ammo I use near 90% of the time is Underwood 140gr Xtreme Penetrator, the other is my handload using Nosler 135gr JHP, a barn burner, mostly when we travel on the road, for unexpected guests when we are dry camping.
