10mm handgun

Bought a new Rock Island HC (High Capacity) 10 mm last week, holds 16+1 and got to shoot it Tuesday and it shoots very well.
I shot some 40 S&W out of it and it was very accurate then shot some mid power 10 mm and the same.Accurate pistol. When the weather straightens out I'll shoot it a bit more. They had them onsale for 499.99.Looking forward to shooting hard cast 200 gr in it.

Been wanting a 10mm myself but have not pulled the trigger on one yet. How does the glock 20sf grip feel size wise versus the xdm? I have medium sized hands and the glock 20sf is about boderline for me.
I did not care for the glock 20sf feel, the xdm felt more at home but for my hands the S&W 2.0 10 mm felt a lot better.
Your hands may feel differently.I had folks tell me the S&W did not fit their hands as well as the xdm so you need to go to a gun counter and try them out and see which one calls your name.
I shot a hugh boar with a 10 mm and hard cast bullet and it went in his chest and out of a ham and ruined everything inbetween.

here ya go

Better have went for this. That's a deal

Do you mean this bullet/projectile?

This is not meant as a personal attack….merely an observation!

While they certainly will penetrate, with their shape they will provide minimal tissue disruption, minimal bleeding ……much like stepping on a nail.

IMO, the wound will rapidly close, with minimal hemorrhaging and tissue destruction. Unless brain or upper spinal column nerve is hit directly….it will do very little in stopping or slowing an attack! Again JMO.

This is where a heavy, wide metplat bullet excels. It penetrates quite well, makes a relatively large wound (tissue damage) channel. memtb
That's what I thought until someone told me those cuts in the side act as a sort of "prop blade" and as the bullet is spinning from the rifling those grooves rapidly push tissue out.

It's the one I got. Mine only cost me $156 tho. Mine was a competition I won. Best price around. Only had to pay for the upgrade (G40) over a standard.

Now that I can see my custom G20SF going down the road for. I'm big on the 1911 frame, the round count is right where I like it. Cheers

Yes it is. They have a new one out with a bino pouch.

Sweet i had not seen this! Well there goes another 140 bucks

I am not going to say you can't shoot .40 S&W out of a 10 mm pistol, but you shouldn't as it does not headspace at all. Only the extractor is holding the round in place. I too have shot some .40 in my G20, it will work but is not recommended.

You are correct.I don't shoot full house loads just to be safe.Since I reload I can make my 40 S&W milder so as not to be dangerous.

I do prefer high capacity 10's for a side arm, and backup for my side arm. I do think that depending on the situation, more backup may be in order. Some options to consider: Eberle Stock rifle packs for your hunting rife. eb_cat-military-hero.jpgH2HM_WEB.jpg
Then, perhaps one of these:

FN SCAR Heavy 7.62 Nato / .308 Win.

And the best backup is usually your best buddy bringing his best buddies!
Just thought I'd bring some entertainment to the party!
Cheers!
