Reloading Injuries

Go to Hornady sight and look up seating die . You can purchase just the seating die or a full die set and sell your other dies. With the full die set you can get a hundred free bullets. their seater die has a moving sleeve so you don't catch your fingers.

These photos of a shotgun accident were posted on Accurate shooter. Looks real serious although I believe the person involved said he was on the mend.

Well crap, I just raked the side of my pinky across the top of the decapping rod on my sizing die and have had to implement my Blood Borne Pathogens protocol!

Been there here and done that recently. My trimmer is on the right side of my press and if I leave the seating die in, it happens every freaking time! My mother always said, "if you're going to be stupid, you better be tough".

OMG, that is horrible! I've seen finger amputations but they pale in comparison to that. We have a Hand center at Hopkins in Baltimore and I've had to take people there with occupational injuries. Never seen anything like that. That probably took multiple surgeries to rehabilitate and obviously, the hand will never be the same. Must have been the result of an obstructed bore. I have a habit at the range when I uncase my rifles to always pull the bolt and look down the bore. Very sobering.
