Miracles Do Happen!

So I go into shoulder surgery this morning expecting repair to tear of a certain tendon knowing the timeline for recovery with a Montana mule deer hunt likely if drawn. I was blessed with so many kind words in threads and PM from LRH FAMILY for safe speedy recovery. I believe the power worked today.

I wake up in recovery to see 3 nurses standing there all giddy and keep asking if I understand them OK. I am thinking WTH? The MRI showed torn rotator BUT that is not what was found!!!! I had the worse calcium buildup my surgeon (also does Notre Dame athletes) has ever seen and NO the tendon was not torn! My previous full reconstruction still fully intact! He cleaned out the calcium, tidied it up a bit and no long term PT ETC! I will be out of sling Monday after block wears off! Weird coincidence is I declined the pain med pump since in previous major surgery never felt pain discomfort at all. 6th sense?

Surgeon told wife I must have been miserable from they pain the calcium buildup is notorious for and she said hard to tell!

So a big THANK YOU to the LRH FAMILY for all the kind generous thoughts and prayers! I believe they worked on my behalf!

Wow, that's great. Did you run out and buy a lottery ticket? Seriously, God does work in mysterious ways and good things do happen to good people. Glad things are looking up for you. Wishing you a speedy recovery, great hunting season and fun times spent with your family.
