Suggestions on dedicated 300WM can?

if you look their mounts are BRAKES. the first part of the suppressor is set up to use the brake.
so quite
less recoil
my 300 win mag with mk248mod1 ammo and up is like a 308 in recoil.( 9 ultra)
and yes you can drop the hearing protection....if everyone else has a suppressor.

Only you can decide how long of a suppressor you're willing to put up with. I'm using a 9" can on my 24" barrel for hunting and general shooting, doesn't bother me at all.

I'm waiting for my TBAC 338 Ultra to clear the ATF wait and will be using it on a 26" 338 Norma. If it's to unwieldy, I'll have the barrel shortened, I'm not scared of a little loss in velocity .

They recommend the brake because it has a taper to shoulder against. The can will attach more consistently and will not back off. Q acts like they invented this and market the crap out of it. TBAC just did it because it makes a better product. A TBAC 7 will be my next suppressor

I know why they do it, it's because tapers are self-aligning, and also they resist carbon buildup so you can get the can off, once you break the seal, all the contact surfaces separate and gap.

Dead Air also does this, so does Liberty Suppressors. Most all suppressor QD mounts have a taper in them on the mounting surface, somewhere.
 
Lots of TBAC recommendations. I wonder how my of you that suggested TBAC own one, and my next question would be if you have one? Do you personally own a comparable suppressor to compare it to?
One and a half years ago I was asking the same questions that the OP did. I ended up with a Griffin sportsman 300, and have a Crux ark338 in jail.
I like my Griffin from what research I did it seemed to be one of the best options for me, but I cannot say one way or anther if it is better or worse than any other suppressor out there.I do know that so far it has met all my expectations.
Same with the Crux I did a ton of research and for me it seemed a much better option than the TBAC but then again how would I know for certain. Doubt I will ever spend another $1945 wait a year just so I can have 2 suppressors for my .338
I found deciding what suppressor to buy the most difficult part of my custom rifles.
It's worse than asking for advice when deciding on a scope.

I have a surefire 300 SPS. It's among the quieter suppressors on 308 and 300 blk silencershop has tested. It is a little quieter than an omega in person on 300 blk to the shooter.

At 20 oz it isn't the lightest. The TBAC 7 is an inch shorter, 1/2 the weight, and metered very closely on the 308. POI shift is nil on the SF and is supposed to be on the TBAC. I'm chasing shorter, lighter, ear safe, and repeatable for my next purchase.
