A bit of info on the gun. I have a Cooper M52 Open Country Long Range that is my hunting rig. It is topped with a Nightforce ATACR and I'm hand loading the Berger 215 for it. I am happy as hell with that setup. It is absolutely amazing, but **** does it have a bark to it. I spoke with Silencer Shop, and they told me the Q Trash Panda or the Q Thunder Chicken would be the way to go. Those to me seem more suited to an AR platform. What do you guys think? I figure they cater to a much wider audience, and I'd like opinions from people that do what I do.....get out and hunt in the West where longer shots are common.
Suggestions on dedicated 300WM can?

TBAC ultra series for sure, I'd go for the biggest, longest one you're willing to put up with, including the TBAC 338 Ultra .

I run the TBAC ultra series 9 on most all my rifles from 300 rum down!! and I have the 338 Ultra that is a lot quieter on 300 rum but a little heavier but not much !!

Not only are they some of, if not, best suppressors in the industry, but their customer service easily matches their products as well.
I run a TBAC Ultra 9 on all magnum stuff. I also have a gemtech tracker and its a good sounding can for the money.

I shoot with ears in all the time anyways because of range rules or around other shooters without cans but hunting and varmint shooting the ears are not needed

In a bolt action it should be below the 140db osha hearing safe impulse noise limit. This however can be cumulative so personally I would wear ear pro at the range.

For the sake of argument, TBAC recommends their threaded qd brakes for max repeatability.

Call TBAC , they'll specifically recommend a CB mount for repeatability and precision.
