Strong NO to the cold shot, I've talked with many who say they won't maintain a solid constant lockup very well unless you do some work to them which for the money you shouldn't have to imo.

This was my feeling as well . The more complex you make thing, the more that can fail. In my opinion, all the Dials and cam type MOA base are not going to be re-peat able. Just too many moving parts for me

That is nice to know that he is still in business, dose he have a new website. I'm shooting a 338 edge I'm not sure if I'll be shooting 285gr or 300gr I am just finishing up this rifle. I'm hoping to get 2700 to 2750fps with the 285 grain ELD, and around 2650 to 2700fps when using heavy 300 grain bullets.

I'm using the MOAB and I find it very repeatable. Tall target test to 8 feet at 100 yards. Dial up, dial down. Repeats just fine.
 
Get ahold of Mark & Sam on YouTube. They custom build some really nice products at an affordable cost. Shippings a buggar from Australia but really solid products.
 
Moab doesn't repeat very well and has no real lockup. Best are era tac and Ivey. That's all I would feel comfortable recommending.
 
I know this sport is expensive but cheaper than drag racing or tractor pulling. Kelblys might have something to fix you up. A rail to dovetail or pitctinny rail. They have them you can buy. 0 20 40 60. That's all fixed is the problem. I never trust adjustable stuff for bases. That optical device for 1k works good. Easy on and off
