27 nosler brass

It is very accurate the brass gets thick when taking the shoulder back that far so i did neck turn and inside ream but after that it was very accurate and was moving them along fairly well.. as for loads i cant remember off the top of my head. but i do know RL33 was the powder for sure
 
Since I sold my 26 I still have the brass and custom Whidden bushing dies. So my thought is to send the dies back to Whidden to get the throat/neck area honed out large enough to accept the .277 and get the bushing I will need from measurement off loaded round.
Any reason why this wouldn't work?
Anyone know the lead time for a reamer from JGS?

My fire forming loads with 170bergers and 156 hammers and 150 ablr were all .75 -1 moa
And that's as far as I made it so far I was in a car accident in sept 17
 
Does anyone have any feasible 27 nosler external ballistic data? What velocity can you push a 170 Berger or 165 matrix? Is 3200 fps attainable without tons of pressure?

I am shooting 3225fps with RL26, 28" Benchmark, 170 Berger, 270 Wby case...Mag Russian primer.

No pressure signs at all...
 
I've been running the Saami spec 27 nosler for over a year but I'm yet to put some 170's through it,I found such a great load(1/2 moa)for the 150ablr that I will wait until they are finished,the last 3 shots off the magneto read 3342,3339 & 3339.Powder was AR2225,I think it's the retumbo equivilant.
26 nosler cases necked up,26" benchmark barrel.

It's a 9 twist,the throat is quite short in the Sammi reamer,the 170 bergers were nowhere to be seen when I built this rifle but I figure I will be chasing the lands anyway once I'm done with the Nosler's.
 
I'm doing this as well. Just got my jgs reamer in the mail. Bumping 30 nosler back .006 is the way to go on the brass IMO. Just have to turn necks down to .015 or so , if nosler ever releases 27 brass should be identical to this worked 30 brass with the exception being a longer neck on the 27 nosler brass. Brux makes 1-8 .277 as well
