I'm wanting to build a long-range rifle using these parts...a stiller diamondback action, a Mcmillan hbr-50 stock, a krieger 1.4" or 2" 1/10 twist barrel 36" long, barrel blocked, using the Sierra 240g. bullet. I could use your opinions on this proposed set-up?! Any advise is welcomed!

I have an kimber 22-250 rifle that I used a oal guage on and measured the cartridge at 2.487 inches to the lands...upon chambering a fire-formed, neck turned only case, with the same bullet pressed at the oal setting of 2.487, I then unchambered the cartridge and remeasered, and it miked out at...

thank you for your comments! Yes, I chamfer the mouth inside and out...I also deburr the primer hole, all at the same depth...these are the only things I do to a raw case before weighing...I started w/ 500 cases of all the same lot number and unfortunatly I only ended up w/ approx. 50-60 max...

Hello, I'm currently weighing my 22-250 cases to within .3 grains...ex. 160.0 to 160.2, then 160.3 to 160.6 etc. I currently have enough brass to load 50 to 60 to use in coyote class benchrest...my question is, am I being picky enough or should I buy even more brass in order to narrow this .3...

I'm reloading in order to find my 22-250's sweet spot...I'm using sierra 52g. moly match bullets...just how often is prudent to clean? every 5 rounds, 10, 15,etc...I use bore scrubber and aerokroil in combo...thanks

I just mounted my new burris rings on my kimber rifle...I use a 50mm. obj scope...I still have 5/16" of clearance between the scope and the barrel...it makes it difficult even with a high cheekpiece to get a good sight picture...before I order a shorter set...what is the minimum correct...

I would like to use the sierra 240 gr bullet since it has a b.c. of .711! What case should I be looking at? ultra mag, weatherby-mag? WSM? This rifle is to be used for 1000yd competition...thanks

I'm wanting to have a rifle built that isnt just the same as everyone elses, but that will still do the job for 1000yd competition...the 240 gr. sierra bullet has a b.c.of .711! what cartridge would be best to push it at 3000fps or so? wsm? ultramag? weatherbymag? any ideas? thanks!
