I think that in the leupold you pay for the name. I think that simmons is just as good or better than leupold. Any other opinions out there?

The 243 is better for longrange shots and shoots better in the wind than the 223 would. I have a bit more experience in that and as well as the people that I hunt with. The smallest caliber we use is a 22-250.

I would have to diagree with you on that pahunter. i think that the 25-06 would be good. i think it is very flat shooting and a bit less recoil but still has a llot of knockdown power!

I would lik to get the opinions of several different people about what caliber to go with for varmints. More likely coyotes.

Does any have 221 fireball? I would like to know how far it shoots accuratly. How accurate it is at 100yds. And is it big enough to take a deer down?
