I've been trying to shoot 140gr SSTs in my 6.5x284 and can't get a good group. I've been using IMR 4350. Its the same powder I use in my competition 6.5x284s, but under a 142SMK. All my 6.5s love it. But I've tried different charges of 4350 under the SSTs and can't get a group under 2". Has anyone had better luck with a different powder?

I'm using:
Winchester 284 necked down to 6.5
Federal GM210 primers
27" Lilja 1:8 twist

I have had good luck with rl22 and 4831sc in mine with good results with very little work up.

Well.... after much research, 51.7gr of 4831sc shot very well. But, 50.8gr of RL22 shot just a touch better, with all bullet holes touching. Both were producing 2960fps, which seems to be the node this barrel likes. BUT...... I found another node at 3100fps that was awesome. But with sticky bolt lift and cratering primers, it's just too hot to shoot. Thanks for the help in narrowing the powders down biggdawg.
