I am looking for a savage repeater lrp action. I might also consider a barreled action or a full lrp rifle for the right price.

I have been in the market for this same thing for a while. They come up every now and again but, when they do they are normally so close to the price of a new rifle its not worth it. Good luck with your search.

What is special regarding a Savage LRP action ? Is it not just a regular model 12 varmint / LPV action with the DBM and trigger guard in stainless ? Depending on the chambering it would usually be a small shank, unless it was a short magnum. Model 12 LPV are readily available for a lot less money that the LPR.

The lrp has the target trigger. It is the finest action assembly that savage makes. Their LRP rifles are probably the best bang for your buck rifle made by any manufacturer.

I have a 12lrp in 243. It has the detachable mag and HS Precision stock. I picked it up about a year ago, and I only have about 100 rounds through it. I have never had it out hunting. I have been thinking about letting it go in favor of something a little more packing practical. I may split it up for the right price.

Dakotamike, you still looking to sell entire rifle? If so what are you asking?

Yes, I would still be interested in selling it. I am looking for $875 + shipping. I have a Vortex Viper 5-15x44 Mil-Dot mounted on it. It was the Midway special similar to the new HS-T's. I could leave it on with the rings and bases for another $450.
