I did a build on an old Rem 700 ADL in a 30-06.

I took off the barrel, bought a Bergara barrel in 22-250. The barrel uses the Savage barrel nut design. Once you install it, it looks great. to save me some money I added some scraps of wood to the stock and then used 2 cans of bondo to blend everything to the old stock. once I was completed with all the hard work, I applied primer and then 14 coats of yellow, with 10 coats of clear coat.

Gun is fun to shot, and I am able to spot my hit and misses even on 24 power!

That looks good !
now you need a .300 WIN MAG, or a ,308, I have a bbl. for you !

how much!

I am a poor Engineer who has road the layoff wave too much in the past 4 years!

Plus I am married and have 4 girls! I would love to make them a smaller rifle and paint the stock some type of Pink Camo!
