Chamber Reamer

I am betting that whatever responses you get are just going to be opinions. Here is my opinion PTG and Manson reamers cut great.

+1

I use both and find them exceptional.

Clymer also makes good reamers.

Don't know about the rest but the quality and service with Manson and PT&G is excellent.

Thank you guys for the response, I am having a barrel chambered and my smith told me he likes manson reamers best, seems that many use PTG so I thought I would go that route but my smith did not like the idea as well.

Dave Kiff has probably the best reamers out there and a great guy to talk/consult with. What was your smiths problem with his reamers?

sinarms,
he didn't embellish, and I really didn't pry so I'm not sure if there was a bad experience or what

Reamers of different brands seem to cut a little different because of the way they are ground
so my best guess is that your smith likes the way the Manson cuts . it does not mean that
it is a better reamer just that he likes them.

I have some Manson reamer that have cut 9 or 10 chambers and they will still cut you if you
handle them wrong., so they are very good reamers.

Let the smith use the reamer that he wants to because he is responsible for the quality of
the chamber.
