Anybody load em?
Specifically in the 6mm arc gas gun?
Midway had an unbelievable price on the factory seconds at like 16 cents per which was to cheap to pass up and I snagged 600.
Wondering what comparable bullet I should use to start load data with.

Hey TAP are good bullets. A lot of factory seconds are just like the 1St.
I usually wet tumble2nds and then see if there are any defects.
look at 105gr data and work up.

I Bought a couple thousand too. Haven't shot em yet. I'd look at 108 ELDm data for a starting point.

These 106s are built with a thicker jacket and interlock ring like ELDx but they are longer than all the other 6mm hornadys including the 109 that GAP has. Hornady recommends min 7.5 twist for these.

Long thread on SnipersHide reference loading these. Good results in 6ARC (apparently what they are intended) but also 6BR family.

I'm working up a load right now with leverevolution. Don't have my book in front of me but I think I'm running a powder charge ladder from 27 to 28.5 in .5gr increments. 5 shot groups. Mag length/coal of 2.93"

I've seen the long thread on 106 ATips but not these 106 polymer tipped TAP bullets?

I bought 700 @ 37.99 but you only get 90 per box so i only recieved 630. If you ordered 2k thats 2 whole boxes short i would count them @ $40 a box. They refunded me so fast that they had to know. From the time i sent the email to the refund was 20 min. It took me longer to count and take pics which they didnt even need. Now on the ones i got the weights were 106.01 to 106.08 the most consistant i have ever weighed. BUT the Ogive measurements were why theese are second imo. They were from .702 to .708. If your on the edge of a seating node you just fell off. In a gas gun i dont know if it will matter much. I havent shot theese yet. Other loads in my gas gun 8 thousandths was the diff between .25 and .75" groups. I can load theese to mag length of 2.30 in my duramags without hitting lands. Th ogive is very low on the bullet.

Dang! I'm going to have to count a box or 2 now.

I don't eff around with seating depth much, either they shoot without fuss or I don't fuss with em.
