Like that lady cop who accidently shot and killed a guy who was wanted on a gun charge. It was so very obviously an accident but they still locked her up.

I think that every cop in the state should've walked off the job when they did that.

She risked her life for that community every single day for 20 plus years, and she makes one fatal mistake on a guy who was running from a gun charge and they lock her up????

Sure makes recruiting new cops a lot harder, I would think.

So the elites have personal security but they don't want us to be able to defend ourselves and at the same time making our only security (the police) hesitant to use any force for the fear of prosecution.

There are several court precedents that absolve the police from an individual's protection. They are only responsible for the general safety of the public. So if they don't respond to an individual's call for help there is nothing anyone can do. And after all the covid riots that lasted a year of more I think the safety of the general public has become much looser.

I think it's more of a "Look at me, everyone, I'm doing something" than a legitimate attempt at curbing the gun violence.
From what I read, most law enforcement officials are not on board with it.
Their recent spat of gun violence has mostly been underaged gang bangers. Seems like maybe THAT'S where she should start? Maybe lock them up for a serious amount of time? I get it, they are kids, but if they want to do adult crimes they need to do adult time.

I've seen these precedents in action. The LA Riots and the lawsuits that ensued afterwards proves my point.
