Whats the cartridge you LOVE to HATE?

@memtb... since you have... what are the spreads like???

Between the AI and the .375 Weatherby…..or between the H&H and the AI?

Not certain of the exact between the AI and the Weatherby. The AI as compared to the H&H…..I'm presently running a Barnes 250 TTSX @ 3130 fps. There was more velocity….but groups were starting to open up. I will be going to 270 LRX's this summer….I'll be a bit bummed if I can't get 3K fps.

Does that cover your question? memtb

So I need a 375 AI versus the 375 WBY lol. I really don't know what the ddifference between the two actually is??? I had heard that it was just the shoulder but I haven't looked in detail.

Looking up data on the 375 Weatherby should be relatively easy…..the AI, not so much,

I don't have a lot of data on mine…..as I don't experiment much. I've only shot 4 different style/weight bullets through it since February 1990. memtb

Here's an article about the .375 Weatherby!

Well... I am blown away. I had read reports that this was Roy's one and only cartridge that wasn't a double radius curve because it was developed PRIOR to his development of his other cartridges which of course do have the double radius. Not that I have anything against the design. I have 3 x 300 WBY and live them. What i thought was going to be my "if I had only 1 hunting rifle..." is a K95 in 300 WBY.

Well I take it back on the radius. So now makes me question is it the 375 WBY or better the 375 AI. Lol

Easy….the AI, cause I have one! In reality…..that question will "open a big can of worms"! 😉 memtb

You guys are evil. So basically everything crap at the show but... 3 x 375 H&H's at the show. Ruger markII - $2,750
Sako AIII - $2,650
Both nice. Ruger basically brand new

Sako AIII beat up pretty badly $2,100

Debating as they were all with 1 guy but he is always stupid with pricing

Did pick up a new in box (old) Redfield widefield 4x that will go on Rem 788 in 30-30. What are you guys doing with all the primers and powder down there??? Wow... absolutely stupid pricing on that stuff. Pretty glad got about 16 lbs of powder sitting around. Lol

Ya, since moving to the province some years ago I noticed Saskatchewaneans treat their gun shows like car shows.

Nobody wants to sell anything.

More like a 'show and shine', but without the shine, if you know what I mean.

I don't mean that as a put-down, love the people, love the province... It's just a strange cultural phenomenon.
