No one seems to have any Berger bullets, what going on? I've been looking for 284 150gr Classic Hunters, and/or 140 VLD Hunting. none to be found for months!!
I noticed during my searches that there are practically no Bergers of any sort.

They are scarce these days, but they are out there. However, they go quickly. A couple of weeks ago, Midway had the 215s; I missed the 100 counts but secured 250 counts.
If you need a box of 140's I can spare one(100). Whatever midway costs +8 will do. What I paid. Shoot me a pm. Buy em when you see them unfortunately.
You, Sir, are spot on and a good man for sharing! @Texis, this offer is golden.

Thanks for the offers guys, I still have a few hundred 150s and 168s on my shelf, I'll wait it out. Just seems odd that a mfg like Berger can't keep their bullets on the shelves.
I wonder if it has anything to do with the parts of the military adopting Berger Hybrids for sniping rounds. All it takes is one new military contract to eat up all a company's capacity.

Not all that long ago, most shooters bought a box or two as they were needed, the same way they bought powder. There was little need to stock up or buy large quantities because you could always get what you needed and could shop around for the best price.

Today, even casual shooters are buying up everything in sight. There are more components on shooters shelves waiting to get reloaded than will ever be utilized.

Just my 2 cents.

Yup. People seem to forget about the SOCOM 300 Norma ammo contract. I believe there were two runs in excess of 1.5 Million 215s and 230s. Us peasants were hung out to dry.

I started reloading in 1999. I don't recall Bergers EVER being abundant.

It seem that almost manufactures of bullet are in short supply anymore. Prices about 3x higher too. I have gotten some 2nds, here as lately to fireform with. I see that Brownell's has raised it powder up a huge amount too.
