Had a good day dove hunting yesterday, finally got a chance to go chase some birds. It was hot out but good, saw a couple of diamondbacks. Grass and weeds were pretty high, so we had to be careful with the ratlers.

Wife and I had tons of fun, especially at dinner time. She loves these kabobs. Prepped these and saved some for another day.

Looks awesome. No dove hunting for me except for the one Eurasian collard dove I knocked out of the garden yesterday with an pellet gun for trying to get into my tomatoes.

Looks awsome. Making me hungry. If I may make one suggestion, cook bacon half way in oven first, about 12-14 minutes at 400, then wrap the doves. You get less grease fires and more crispy bacon, if you like crispy bacon

Thanks, good idea. I'll ask wife if she wants it more crispy, but I like bacon a little tender.

I keep an eye on them to avoid the grease fires, so the doves stay medium rare and don't dry up.

Thanks again.

Try putting a slice of jalapeño in the breast before wrapping!!

Yup, she said yes to the jalapeño slice and crispier bacon.

Thanks again.
