Reloading for the new .277 Fury from Sig

I read today that the new service rifle will be available to the public without the can and in .277 Fury instead of the 6.8. With Sig getting the nod from the Army to supply the new replacement for the M4/M16 and M60, how long will it be before we will see components?

Can't wait myself. Even though I can't get the stuff to reload 30/06 and .270 I get giddy at the thought of trying to find the crap to reload this.

Yeah, but we will not be able to purchase the 6.8 military ammo. Sig is going to release a "civilian" version of the 6.8, the .277 Fury according a press release I saw yesterday.

Barrel burner? 135gr at 3000fps, 308 can do that. What will be the barrel burner is the 80,000 psi

The civilian ammo likely will be all brass cased and under 65k psi

Haven't seen shooting data yet. Can't see the military getting into a gun with high barrel burnout. Wouldn't be able to support it. They would be the armory all the time.
