H1000 Powder

gunbroker.com is by far the easiest way. But, most expensive way to get it. Other than that, no online retailers have it. If they do, it's a scam.

A want ad in the classifieds might get you someone local, to you, that would be willing to help out (99% of us can't ship powder).

Offer up something for trade. If you have Berger, 30 Cal, 215 gr Hybrids to trade you can probably have H1000 by sundown today.

I'd seriously consider buying some of this, if I needed something very close to H1000 (in-stock right now):
I got pretty lucky a couple months ago a local supply shop that supports the competitive shoots locally sold me two 8 lbs each of Retumbo, H1000 and Ramshot Mag at regular price. I haven't tried the Ramshot Magnum in my 300 PRC yet as I'm now short on Bullets and can't use them up testing. Seems if you get one component, I'm short on another one!

You can also flip your phone sideways…

To the OP:
Gunbroker has stuff but it will cost you.
Find a local gun shop that will add you to a wait list. That's what I do and have picked up quite a bit of RL26/33 and 6.5 Staball that way.
Thank You I have seen plenty of sites saying they have it and when you go to punch in address it is a Barn in the middle of Bum .... Egypt

Thank You, I have found some sites that are in the middle of no where so you know its a scam. Have you heard of Accurate Magpro Magnum Powder?

Midsouth got a bunch of H1000 in stock back in June and it has showed up on Hodgdon' website a few times recently as well. I scored 8 pounds from Midsouth but I also like 7977 which has eluded capture.
I recommend you open an account on AmmoSeek.com you can set up a total of 10 searches for powder, primers, bullets or whatever you want. When an online retailer shows it in-stock AmmoSeek will text you a link. If you act fast you may score. Good luck

Yea, that seems to be much easier to find in my area than H1000. The shop down the street has a few 8 lbs jugs of that on hand.

I am new to reloading would this be similar to N565 I'm using it it a 6.5 PRC

Before the "shortage" I usually test a few different powers with each bullet style? I have shot some RL 17. RL25 & Magnum with good results, comparable to H1000! I actually have had really good groups with R17, not sure why its not mentioned much, tempeture sensitive maybe ? Only problem I have seen with Magnum, it does not meter great, get more over charges out of my auto scale.

Ramshot Magnum would be something worth trying.
