Scammer dennis47

I request that anyone I do business with does trader history on me, and I do it for them, good or bad. Luckily I have had nothing but excellent transactions with any of the members I have dealt with. I will not send money to anyone I have not talked with over the phone as I trust my gut. I did have one member that had nice glass for sale and ZERO trader history. I told him, the trust was in his court. Check me out and if he was comfortable, send me the glass, and if as described I would immediately send payment. He did his part and I did mine and it was a successful transaction. If any question, or your gut says no, walk away. If you are finished with any transaction, be fair to the members and do trader history and ask for it to be done on you. An email goes out to the other member once history is done, and that many times reminds them to do history on you. I have contacted other members I know and have dealt with to verify the history on some unknown members if they have conducted business before with them. Trader history is a powerful tool we all need to use. Be smart and be safe.

Terry, did you do feedback on the sellers when you bought over the last couple of years? I make it a part of the deal that once the purchase is complete, I expect feedback and I ensure that I do it as well.
I can assure you, if you buy or sell to me, a history will be added to your account.
good luck. Lots of excellent people on this site. Great members that are representative from the examples made by Len and Andy. Honest and fair. Roger

I did leave feedback.

I'm just curious how some of you handle a transaction that was a little bit underwhelming.....left you feeling "meeah"......... for example a box of bullets broke open in shipping and half missing. Not really the sellers fault but probably could have packaged it better. You mention this to him in a pm and get no response. What do you do? It feels like leaving a negative feedback would prompt a bad back and forth, but at the same time if the next time it was a Nightforce scope that was damaged, how would that person react?

I only hope that those that haven't left me feedback WEREN'T feeling like this and just didn't leave feedback. I'm guilty of just not leaving feedback on small things like above because I don't feel like dealing with it for something minor. More and more in the last months I have avoided purchases when you look and the person has several adds posted sold, with "I'll take it" but no feedback...........PLEASE leave feedback, and if you're not satisfied give them a chance to make it right first.

It is the sellers responsibility to deliver the goods as they were described in the classifieds. If they are not well packaged and get lost or damaged in shipping, seller needs to make it right. That would be part of being a good member. And if not, history should be written about that member describing the sale. I did history on the last 2 boxes of bullets I bought. Seems minor, but all history matters, good and bad. Seller can opt to not pay for insurance but then it is on him to cover any damage or loss, regardless of the value of item shipped. Until the item is delivered safely to the buyer, the sale is not complete.

I worked overseas and I can tell you the 2 - words in emails or p.m. that should tip you off are " kindly" and " regards" to scammers out of the U.S.A. or where they originated.

Sorry, Brother, I disagree! I, too, lived and traveled overseas but have not experienced your statement. I was brought up using these words and still use them in my academic and work correspondences.

Feenix every email i recieved overseas had those 2 words in them when I was there. Ive never in my life recieved an email with those 2 words in them from people I know. Every p.m or email that I've seen lately has either both or one or the other in it so take it for what its worth.
Maybe its the regions we worked but were I did alot of this scammers come from
