I recently purchased a Weatherby Pre Mark V 220 Rocket locally and I cannot find much information about the gun online or another like it for sale. Does anyone have any knowledge on these rifles?

What type of info are you looking for? They are a Mauser action and the 220 Rocket is a 220 swift that is fireformed, similar to Ackley Improving a cartridge, you can shoot factory 220 swift ammo through it and the brass will form leaving you with Roy's 220 Rocket with a classic weatherby radius shoulder.

Great info! Specifically looking for collectibility, value and production numbers on the rifle.
you should jump on weatherby nation for this info i know some folks that have these i do not but several collectors on the site. If you are looking to unload it check there or reachout to skeeters google skeeters weatherby dealers. Scottie is a great guy

Do you still have that weatherby rocket?

This is mostly incorrect. The original design by Roy Weatherby DOES NOT have the double radiused shoulder, however there is one(of the very many)versions of the rocket that does. The "authentic" version can be obtained through Manson Reamers. ALL other blueprints I have researched are nothing more than a typical Ackley improved design except with a 33 deg shoulder. The "authentic" version actually pushes the shoulder around 40 thous further UP the case body resulting in a shorter neck(.277). I owned two different versions of the rocket, one being the "common" design, the other being the "authentic" design. The "authentic" design actually has more case capacity than the Ackley version.
