BUSHNELL, a solid brand

How many of us do the Chinese have to kill through their 60 year plan of bringing us down thru germ warfare before we stop buying their products built with slave labor ? Samsung just announced all Chinese production will end.
BE AMERICAN, BUY AMERICAN !

Thanks, last time I looked both Leupold and Nightforce were making scopes in the USA. If you think YOU can see the inferiority of them vs some Chinese scope ------- well you're "special".

Given the sophistication of scopes today, almost all of us could get along with three scopes.

Were I starting fresh: a NF 1-8 FFP, NF 4-32 and NF 15-55. Were I honest, I could probably sell the 30 odd scopes I own and buy these 3.

Then again. my pickup is 18 years old and I drink box wine.

OK........what does this have to do with a Bushnell thread?

I got sucked into his post sorry. But the DMRs are excellent scopes. My brother has the prime on his ruger American predator 6.5G and it's a great little scope as well. Serves its purpose for what my brother uses it for. I also like the AR optics in FFP. Set them and forget them you definitely turn your AR into a DMR. 300 - 500 yard shots are doable depending on your AR platform.

From Optics Talk.

I believe that Bushnell comes out of China, although there are some Bushnells that are made in the Phillipines, and some from Japan I think as well. The main thing is the QC at the plants, as long as that is in good shape the point of origin makes little difference as to quality.

And if you were really really honest you could get by with Leupolds also. lol
Hey i drink the box wine also, but only the red stuff, and my truck is much newer.

FWIW, The Nitro's are Made in Korea, not China
stamped right on the bottom of my nitro scope "Made in Korea"

Both of the top two posts were on page 2 of this thread we're on. I think Doug would know where they are made he sells em.

I however have been talking about 4500 elites that were made in japan.

No problem 300, I just wondered what was happening :)

I have a couple of the DMR's, 1 with the G2 reticle and the other with a Horus. Both have held up extremely well for me an seem to be built very solidly. They are certainly on par with my nightforces, premiers and others.

Yup the red stuff, good for the old ticker.

Full disclosure: also have an 97' Neon, 04' 911, 08' Miata, 19' Pacifica, 3 bicycles and 2 horses and 12 Leupolds..

The lower end Bushnells are not so good. The Top Tier are really good IMHO. I own many scopes, with them, you basically get what you pay for

My Bushnell Nitro is marked made in s.Korea. y'all do not know what ur talking about. Try facts!!!

Just shot my cheap ( $200 after rebate) Bushnell Nitro 4 X 16 X 44 deploy MOA recticle out to 850 yards on new build 300 win mag shooting with hunting bullets ( 200 gr gamekings). Elevation was right on the spot ( with in 1 inch either way) data pulled off Balistic AE for my load. I was off about 5 inches on my wind call. With a little load development and 208 eld-m I will keep stretching it out. Clarity was equal to leupolds and better then other highly advertised scopes. Not dogging anyone that pays for the much higher priced scopes just sharing my experience.
