I love Hammer Bullets

Just got a new 28 nosler not decided what hammers to try first has a 1:8 twist proof barrel

What kind of velocity are you guys seeing running the 124's out of a 6.5 creed?

I am curious what people are seeing for BC on the Hammer Bullets.

For me the published BCs have held up to 700 yards (furthest I've really shot them) but I've only ran them in one rifle which is my main hunting rifle and it's a 8 twist .300 win mag which I think is helping BC along with the velocity I'm getting.

Steve is doing a load development for me and he still has my rifle but he is getting 3,260fps with 155gr HH's in my 7mmRemMag 26" 1:8 barrel, with 3 shots touching at 200yds.

I can only imagine what you will get with a 28 Nosler

I've only shot 2 177 .284 bullets ymmv 8tw 280ai went through the same hole at 200yds with 61.0 of rl26. They were loaded to 3.550 same as the 197smk using that as a baseline.

I'm thinking of trying out the 169 hh

Do you have any experience with the 177s on game at long range/low velocity?
No, I haven't taken any game with them yet.
I did shoot the 177's out to 850 yards. They easily "rang steel" with the computed dial up for the listed BC.
I load Hammers in 6 different cartridges. All animals taken have been under 300 yards. Either DRT or within a few yards. Nothing goes far after they get shot with these bullets.
I know Steve suggests 1800 fps as the lowest terminal velocity
