Ok I am not a big fan of the 6.5 Creedmore

I am sitting at my crappy homemade bench, half camp table...eating peanuts to let the barrel cool down, and thinking I could do some wind doping with the debris off the peanuts. Peanuts are good more than one thing now. And the mess is serviceable in the right setting. It is good to get out to an isolated range and work on a hobby. 6, 7, 8mm... what's it matter anyway. As long as it gets the job done. Maybe a thread about the 6mm Lee Navy...bring it back?

DANG. Shot this water jug last week with a 140 Berger Elite Hunter from the 6.5 CM at 800 yards. The empty jacket actually got hung up in the backside of the jug. Guess that's what happens with the Creed when you forget to put powder in the case!

I own three of them and they shoot great! Would I hunt deer with them... possibly. Would I hunt elk with them... not a chance. I would be more concerned if by chance my shot was not as clean as I hoped and had to search for an animal. To me there is no such thing as to big a round. I'm not saying 50 cal but at least a 30. I know I'm going to take slack from all the William tells, but that's my opinion.
