So Gabby Giffords Husband, Mark Kelly, is running as a Democrat against Martha McSally for the Arizona Senate seat this next election cycle. He will likely get the Democrat party nomination in the primary given his former astronaut credentials. Based upon who he is married too I think he could end up being a bigger threat to the Second Amendment than Diane Feinstein.

If our side loses this race we will have lost key terrain in the Senate and worse, it will be an indicator that a once reliably pro Second Amendment state will be on the California path.

The incumbent, Martha McSally has a much better record on our Second Amendment rights.

And if the anti-gun crowd in Tuscon hates her this much then we really need to support her

If you are in Arizona, or have firearm owning family and friends that are, make sure you talk to them about getting out and voting for the candidate that is not a self declared enemy of the Second Amendment.

Mark Kelly was an "***-tro-not" for sure (green-screen, we never went to the moon). He's also a joke of a man. What sort of a so-called man claims to have seen combat against viable threats, and what tyrannical dictators can do to a country and its people, and then comes back home, and claims the government should step in and take guns away from law-abiding citizens... No REAL man I know!!! Most combat vets I know did the opposite... They saw what happened there, saw some similarities of what could happen back here at home, and as soon as they got back, they started collecting and stocking up! Also, all the LEO's and vets I know won't stand for a treasonous order, no matter how high up it comes from, they will stand on our side and fight with the citizens against the tyrants.

Kelly's one of the last few honest men left. We been stuck with extremists from both sides for too long. We'll solve a lot of issues when we get an independent, as both parties are failures. Everyone I know that's even halfway honest, have left their parties.

What issues is Kelly going to solve?

I don't see how he is an independent, he is running as a democrat.

On his " give me money" site he even states his goal of " defeating the gun lobby". What do you suppose he means by that?

I am shocked how often people will vote away their own rights. It's getting crazy! Why would you vote for anyone who would go against your 2A rights? Yet a surprising amount of people who hunt and shoot will vote their rights away...sad stuff.

Because they're all Fudds and nervous old people (happens with age), and they think "folks don't need one them newfangled AR47's and AK15 assault rifles like they use in the military"... They're not worried about 2A rights unless the Feds are trying to take their O/U or SxS shotguns and ban bourbon & cigars at their multi-thousand acres ranches. Even though our civilian versions are NOT military rifles, and so-called "assault rifles" account for less than 300 deaths in "mass shootings" a year out of our 327+ MILLION population. Literally multiple-times more people go missing in national forests each year, than die from being in a mass-shooting. Why aren't national forests banned? Why aren't GPS restrictions necessary?

lol.
I understand the issue with Mark Kelly - either he's willfully treasonous, or else just mentally impaired as a result of all that time in 0-G which kept the blood from circulating to his brain.

But when it comes to alleged gun owners volunteering to give away their own rights (which they are welcome to forfeit) and mine (which they have no right to tamper with), then I draw the line. I will not be civil with anyone who tries to rob me and my children, or "fundamentally transform" my Constitution and Bill of Rights into something more PC to collectivist sensitivities.

And for the record, I don't consider this clown to be a "great american" because he performed experiments on the space station to see how long earthworms could live in the vacuum of space. But I do see a certain correlation; only now he is experimenting to see if the vacuous worms will vote for him.

Exactly what I would expect from someone who lives in the "Soviet Socialistic State of Colorado"
