OK, My turn on the 6.5 Creedmoor

After Weatherbyfan posted pics of his sako a7 rebarreled to a prc, finding a used magnum a7 with the m40 b&c stock is quite appealing. The triggers on those a7s are pretty nice for a factory
I think I'll go for either a savage SA or a Remington long action. I do prefit barrels so at this point I'm limited to a savage prefit unless someone is doing a remage 6.5 pec that I dont know about. I dont really want to do another savage but I will if I have to. I was running numbers and a 147 at 3100 is right on the heals of a 7mm rem mag with a 180 at 3000 fps with less powder and recoil.

I would like to suggest that some of the "haters" use the "ignore" function on this site, so that information can flow and reduce the BS. Personal attacks do not add to a family friendly site.

I don't think anybody "hates" the 6.5CR. It's just that it lacks the velocity of the 6.5PRC, IMO. I believe any caliber rifle in good condition can be tuned excellently. I am sincerely glad that you CR guys enjoy your rifles, as much as I enjoy my 257Rbts... not the fastest but great shooters. cheers

Is this for real? This entire thread was started to entice debate - there is no other reason for it. Plus - they bleep out most of the swearwords...maybe if you are looking for something more family friendly you can check out the disney forum?

I enjoy reading about how accurate the 6 and 6.5 creed are. They make me laugh a little when they compare a 6 or 6.5 creed to having the inherent accuracy of a 6br. That is just laughable. I better go, my dog wants inside after taking a creedmore in the yard

I cant wait until hornady takes a 7mm08 shortens it changes the shoulder angle a few degrees and calls it the 7mm creedmoor. Then they will advertise the heck outa it and watch the money spill through the door.

"Better than the 7 mag, with less powder, and less recoil."
