Resizing .270 to .30 06'

If you do this, make sure to take something like a Dremel tool and grind off the .270 headstamp. You don't want someone picking up one of your cartridges and trying to put it in his .270.

they won't fit if the 270 barrel is actually anywhere near 270...

Same here. Most of my 35 whelen brass is actually 30-06... I've also got a ton of 270's loaded as 30-06 (and probably some 30-06 necked down to 270).. Label your ammo boxes and segregate them in your inventory and you are good to go... Just make sure your brass oal is fine and things are squared up enough to be accurate..
