It doesn't matter which you do first if you aren't doing a "glue in" (which I'd never recommend). There's no reason to have the stock on the action when you bed the scope and no reason to have the scope on the action when you bed the stock. If you're bending the action when you do either you're doing it wrong.
Thanks guys, just wanted to check. It just seemed like a good idea to do the mount first, that I would have something extra to hold on to while doing the stock.
